Resurrection for Relationships

Introduction: Most families today are feeling very strained. Besides that, there is usually some hurt and offense that joins the strain. But how can healing take place? Both the Word of God and the Spirit of God brings healing and help.

“Where Grace is in Place”

1. By Renewing the mind! (Rom 12:1,2) – ” I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

It is fought and won in the battle on the mind. How is your mindset? Does it need changing?

2. By Releasing the hurt! (Eph 4:31) – “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice.”

Hold on or let go? Which one?

3. By Refreshing the heart! (Eph 4:32) – “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

Thank God for His forgiveness! Never get over it!!

4. By Restoring the Grace! (Heb 12:15) – “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”

God’s GRACE is available, abounding and amazing! However, it can be failed as the text says. Grace can be in place!

Conclusion: Here are the tools that our Lord has for every child of His. Let’s use them for His glory!
