A Great Prayer for You

Introduction: How can we pray for others, each other? Many claim to be praying. But in what ways? First, don’t forget confession. Then do a thorough job of cleansing. Next, get ready for the calling. Will you make this a prayer for someone today? Technically speaking, Paul prayed this for the believers in Ephesus. Just like they needed it, due to the temple of Dianna, we need it because of the idolatry and immorality in our world.

Make the following a prayer for someone “special”:

1. “Lord” may they experience the “Riches of Your GLORY”!

“16That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory..” (Eph 3:16)

The glory of God is the ultimate objective.

2. “Lord” may they experience the “Riches of Your “GLORY” & be “Strengthened by Your might in their inner being”!

“6That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.” (Eph 3:16)

Give them “Strength” for the journey.

3. “Lord” may they experience the “Riches of Your “GRACE” & be “Strengthened by Your might in their inner being”…and then Lord May they be “Rooted and grounded in Your LOVE”!

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.” (Eph 3:17)

The Love of Christ motivates us!

4. “Lord” may they experience the “Riches of Your “GRACE” & be “Strengthened by Your might in their inner being”…and then Lord May they be “Rooted and grounded in Your LOVE….and then finally may they be “FILLED with all of Your FULNESS”!

“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” (Eph 3:19)

To be “filled with the fullness of God” means to be under His control.

Conclusion: Will you pray that for me? And I will pray this for you!
