Introduction: Do you ever feel drained—emotionally, mentally, physically, relationally, financially, or last but not least, spiritually? What do you do when you get like that? Does it seem that you are being pulled in all different directions constantly? Are you becoming more and more exhausted, frustrated, or even irritated? Has stress taken its toll?

Since “CARING, SHARING, and BEARING” can drain you, then listen carefully. Please read prayerfully HEAVEN’S following prescription list:

 

1. Put off the old you! (Eph. 4:22, 23)

2. Put on the new you! (Eph. 4:24)

3. Wait patiently upon the Lord and exchange your strength for His! (Isa. 40:31)

4. Throw your burdens on the altar of the Lord! (1 Pet. 5:7)

Pray when you feel like worrying! (Phil. 4:6–7)

5. Make quick restitution with Jesus and others when needed! (Eph. 4:31–32)

6. Let go of bitterness! (Heb. 12:15)

7. Stay low at the feet of Jesus! (Luke 10:38–42)

8. Keep an attitude of gratitude! (1 Thess. 5:18)

9. Run to Jesus as your refuge! (Prov. 18:10)

10. Stay focused on Jesus instead of others! (Heb. 12:1–2)

11. Lay aside every weight or sin! (1 Cor. 9:24–27)

12. Fight the good fight of faith! (1 Tim. 6:12)

13. Love the Lord with all of your heart, soul, and mind! (Matt. 22:36–38)

14. Be content! (1 Tim. 6:6)

15. Give generously! (2 Cor. 9:7)

16. Have faith in God! (Mark 11:22–24)

17. Put on the whole armor of God! (Eph. 6:10–18)

18. Throw out the life-line to others who are sinking! (Jude 1:22–24)

19. Be courageous in your calling! (1 Cor. 1:26–31)

20. Yield yourselves daily to the Holy Spirit! (Rom. 6:11; Rom. 8:13)

21. Be determined to stay attached to the Vine as a branch! (John 15:1–7)

22. Live daily preparing to stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ! (2 Cor. 5:10)

23. Get filled up constantly! (Eph. 5:18)

24. Confess your wrongdoings to both Jesus and others! (1 John 1:9; James 5:16)

 

Conclusion: Truthfully, this list could go on. But for the sake of time and space, it will suffice for now! Actually, if you take this biblical prescription, then there is no doubt you will live a healthy Christian life for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ!
